for an update I found out that the problem is residing in Internet exporer, firefox as usual doesnt seem to have a problem.

Hi thanks for the help. You speak of the built in plugin browser/installer at the foot of the admin/plugins page.
All I see is a link to the plugin directory and plain text telling the path I need to upload the plugin to. But I cant find an upload field to upload a plugin with.
Would it be in the plugin editor? I hope not, bc that wont load for me properly.
