Of course, that would be great.

How can I send you the login data? I don’t want to post it here.

    Hi Guido,

of course, I replaced every of the “.

Also, I tried the VSEL plugin on a different homepage, where is no other timeline or event plugin installed. The categories don’t work there either.

From my point of view the plugin is not working as it should (with the categories). So, I have the only choice to delete it and use another one. Pity! I would have liked the simple design and the maintenance. But without categories it doesn’t make sense for my homepage. If that works reliably, the plugin will come into question again for me.

Nevertheless, thank you for your answers.

    Best regards

    Hi Guido,

I am not sure what are you meaning with “slug of the event category”, but I have two main categories: upcoming-events (7 events) and shows-conferences (1 event).

And I tried it with ″…″ and ”…”. It is wired…
If I use the normal “…” (shift + 2), it ignores the categories and shows all events, does not matter which category.
If I use the straight ”…” it shows only one event from the upcoming-events category.

I have no clue how I could fix it and what would be wrong. I additionally have installed the plugin WP Timeline. Maybe this is a problem? But actually it should not…

    Best regards

    Hi Guido,

did you see the shortcodes in my request? The the event_cat attribute is included in both.

    [vsel event_cat=”upcoming-events” posts_per_page=”30″]

[vsel event_cat=”shows-conferences” posts_per_page=”30″ no_events_ext=”Currently there are no shows & conferences planned.”]

    Is something missing there?

Additionally information to the categories: Both categories are created as parent-categorie. That means none of them has a parent. I think this should be fine(?).
