So, is there anything to be done? I’d contact wordpress support directly, but apparently it doesn’t exist.
We haven’t had any luck FTP-ing into our site because we just have a free blog site through WordPress. Does that mean WordPress is our web host, and if so, is there a way to get into our site files if WordPress is not recognizing our username and password?
Noob here, as I’ve never used FTP before. Is it still possible to FTP in if I’m running my blog via a free WordPress account? I’m not aware that it’s hosted by a third-party.

In reply to: Fatal error: Class 'WPSEO_Options' after plugin updatingI am still having the same issue – we just have a free blog site through WordPress so I don’t know of any other web host. Is there a way to find this out? How can I FTP in to manually change files if it’s just a free site through WordPress?
We are having the problem as adairk – I’m not sure how to get in to manually delete the plug-in. I don’t believe we host our site outside of WordPress. We just have a blog that we login through wp-admin to manage, but wp-admin just gives the error message. Any suggestions?
This update appears to have deleted my login credentials and blog site. I tried to FTP in but it said it did not recognize my password, unless I’m doing this wrong (which is possible!). Any suggestions how to FTP back into my site to fix this problem?
