Hi @nickdgreen , when an email delivery fails, that’s something you can check from the email log of your SMTP provider. It is not something you will see in Mail Mint.

Hi @portugaldirectory , in this case, you need to ask the hosting to disable backend caching for all files in the Mail Mint folder. This should help to avoid misinformation.

Hi @lamarrbits , we are sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience with Mail Mint. However, I would like to clarify a few things:

1. If you went through the setup wizard or via plugin settings to add your company details, then it should get saved. If it wasn’t getting saved, then we would expect you to reach us in support as it is an unusual issue. I’m sure we could have found an easy solution. (It’s most likely due to wp-admin cache being enabled on the website.)
2. Yes, the plugin is only available in English right now. We mentioned before that the plugin is yet to be translation supported.
3. Double opt-in emails are a mandatory feature for any email marketing tool. And by default, it is enabled in the plugin.
   – Now, while importing contacts, if you marked the status as Pending (see image), it means the contacts were not confirmed, and so the double opt-in emails will be sent.
   – To avoid this, you may either disable double opt-in emails from the plugin settings (see image) or import contacts with “Subscribed” status (see image).

I clearly understand that explaining these doesn’t change the fact that your leads got an email unannounced. But I’m sure you can see that it was simply a misunderstanding due to not testing the plugin out before using it with live contacts.

We always advise users to first test it out with dummy contacts and understand the plugin features before using it on a live site with real contacts.

I would earnestly request you to give us a second chance on the matter because we are prepared to help you out with this and are confident the plugin works quite well.
