What’s the error you’re getting? You shouldn’t need it with this plugin.
when I used this fix, it gave me this error:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in \wp-content\plugins\wp-facebook-connect\functions.php on line 127
you just need to change the text of the shortcode where it says login_text=’blah’
