I am the theme’s developer, which I clearly stated in the first line of my question. This is a for a theme I am building from scratch. There is no other “support” for this theme than myself.
Also, I thought that by posting a question in this forum, I was addressing it to the “support community”.

I know how to add a color picker to the Customizer. What I don’t know is how to get the color picker to show a “Default” color and button instead of the “Clear” button.
