As long as Blocksy is not activated we won’t be able to help you.

But the problem you described earlier for sure doesn’t come from Blocksy.
We have a lot of users that use the theme and never heard about such an issue before so most likely it should be an issue from your side only.

Try to deactivate all your plugins, clear your caching plugin caches maybe this will help.

Everything works fine on our side and Blocksy doesn’t revert the menu items for sure.

Did you tried to clear your caching plugin caches and also the browser caches after you updated to 1.8.3?

Meanwhile you could use this custom CSS and everything will be fine:
