It seems like we have two issues here:
1. About Customizer not displaying properly with WordPress 5.8.3
2. About updating Blocksy Companion from 1.8.17 -> 1.8.18 on WP 5.8.3—
Issue #1
I tried installing our Floreo starter site on WP 5.8.3 with our latest versions of Blocksy Theme & Companion and the customizer is displayed properly.
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG on that site as described here and try to reproduce the problem again?
If there are any errors in the “wp-content/debug.log” file, please attach them here and we’ll try to understand what’s happening there for you. Otherwise, without being able to reproduce the problem, it’s hard to understand what’s going on here.—
Issue #2
The issue that you saw happens when the “framework/cache-reset-manager.php” file is not present in your plugin install, and thus the autoloader fails to laod that class.
Can you please check if this file was copied properly for you during the update process? This might be the reason for the problem.I tried to update from 1.8.17 -> 1.8.18 on WP 5.8.3 and everything was smooth…
Please try to reproduce this problem on another install and provide us the exact steps for the reproduction. This way we’ll understand if this is something caused by your setup or if it’s a general issue from our end.—

We are aware of an issue with the footer builder, and we have an internal build that should fix things.
We’ve tested this internally and with some of our customers and on all fronts the issue seemed to be solved.
So, we have this internal build for you that you’ll need to install over what you have right now — install as a theme and replace. Also, when the full update releases, update as normal as it will contain the fix as well.Please give it a go and report back, as we’re definitely looking for feedback on this fix 🙂

If you can give us exact steps to reproduce this, we will follow them and fix the issue if it can be reproduced.
Or, maybe you can bring your development site back and give us the full redirects chain so that we can see where everything is coming from.Waiting for your reply so that we can fix the problem that you encountered.

We are not aware about the Blocksy Companion doing something like this. But, if you would post here the link to your site, we’ll gladly have a look at why the redirects number is increased — but make sure to have Blocksy Companion activated.

I just made a clean install and imported the Tasty starter site (Brizy version) and everything seems to work just fine, please see this video – https://d.pr/v/7q8VOyIf on your setup this is reproducing only with the new Brizy version – it would be better to contact the Brizy support as we don’t have nothing to do with their plugin.
Let us know in case you will have any other questions related to Blocksy theme or Blocksy Companion and we will assist you.
