In reply to: Not getting comment notifications after upgradingdavincim – You’re welcome!
Lisa – Open up pluggable.php, find the code, remove it. 🙂 You can find all the details at the link. Just hunt for the code, not everyone will see line numbers. I use Dream Weaver if I have to find it by a line number, otherwise I just use the find feature in Notepad.

In reply to: how to edit picture and text that appears in web browser tab?I’m with Host Monster as well. You have to replace their favicon.ico in your folder with your own. You can go here and make one pretty easily.

In reply to: How to add home link in sidebar? You’re welcome, glad I could help. 🙂 You may want to check out these links in the future. They are great helpers even when you think you know how to do something. Lissa’s is geared towards kids, but, if you are tired of looking at code, that’s the place to go to get help.

In reply to: How to add home link in sidebar? You can edit the sidebar.php in your theme and just add a link, since you aren’t using widgets it’s pretty easy to do.

In reply to: Comment moderation emails not being sent.I just added the comments notifier plugin with hopes that it would still email me when someone commented. It’s very frustrating.
This also effects the backup that is scheduled and emailed to me. I never get that either, I just back it up manually. the actual backup works, the email never is sent.
Obviously this version has issues with email on some servers/hosts.
I can only hope that the next version of Word Press fixes this problem.
It has to be something in the version I’m using, the newest, as the last version worked perfectly for me, in all areas.

In reply to: You do not have sufficient permissionsThanks for the reply. I ended up dumping it and starting fresh. There weren’t many entries or comments to worry about.

In reply to: Version 2.2 comment moderationI just upgraded to WP 2.31 and now my comments aren’t being e-mailed to me to approve. If I go to the site I can approve them and it works fine.
I wonder if anyone else has had a problem since upgrading?
What plugin would cause this? I have these plugins on my site listed here.
I just deactivated the better comments manager, but it doesn’t seem to have helped. I also deactivated the preview comment plugin, still didn’t help.
I had a problem with some plugin in the last version as well, but I dumped that completely.
Any insight would be great, thanks in advance.
