Thanks Andrew. I wasn’t that fussed about Helvetica as a font, so I just replaced it, and now the text is as clear as day in IE. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to help.
I’m primarily using the latest Chrome browser (21.0.1180.83), but also have the latest Firefox one, and also have Internet Explorer 9. I’m vaguely familiar with both CSS and HTML – enough to fiddle around a little – but as I said, I’m still very much a novice!
The text looks far chunkier and rough in IE than it does in Chrome or Firefox. The article titles and the menu bar are unaffected, but the main content and the text in the widgets look awful. Any ideas on how to solve something like this?
