    I’ve just done a clean install test (fresh WordPress + WooCommerce + this plugin) and everything works as expected, so the issue is likely on the configuration side. A few things worth checking:

    • The API key must be a valid Anthropic key (format: sk-ant-api03-…) with available credit on your Anthropic account
    • Testing on localhost can produce connection errors since outbound API calls may be blocked by local firewall/SSL settings — a live site is more reliable for testing
    • After activation, the product cache needs a moment to generate (or can be refreshed manually under Settings → AI Chatbot Lite → Products) Could you share the specific error message you’re seeing?
