Solved it:
Make sure PHP has curl enabled.
We enabled the module but php was not compiled with curl.
So I’ve recompiled php with –with-curl=/dirwherecurllibis/
And that solved the issue.

Well it can browse plugins and themes, and shows them.
Just can’t download them 🙁

Nope, then I get a HTTP error 500
