In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] Pics but no slideshowAh ha, the widget is what’s messing it up because the slideshow looks to see if there is a
[satellite something]on the page. For the pages you want the widget to display on you need[satellite display=off]More about that in the manual: http://bitly.com/stlmanual
This does give me a good idea for a feature update. I can add a config option to always load stylesheets and javascript regardless of the embed form. Thanks for the post!
The Satellite is the updated version and it has an ability to turn off the toolbar addition that both plugins come with. Some hosts just don’t like it for some reason or another.

In reply to: [Slideshow Gallery Pro] [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery Pro] Performance ProblemsHow large are the photos? Resizing the batch to be under 800×600 would be a good start. Might be worth benchmarkin against Satellite too, it’s new form

In reply to: [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery Pro] what controls the order images show ?If you go into the ‘Gallery(8)’ area of the Media section for a post or page that is where you can drag images up and down to affect their order. this is also how it works with Satellite the most current edition of the plugin you’re talking about.

In reply to: [Plugin: Slideshow Gallery Pro] Affected by version numberSatellite is the upgraded version of Slideshow Gallery Pro. It uses a different javascript backend that might fix this issue. Try it out!

In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] Breaks editor toolbarThe release put out at the beginning of next week will have a configuration option to turn this feature off. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

In reply to: [Slideshow Satellite] [Plugin: Slideshow Satellite] Breaks editor toolbarHmmm…I don’t have that issue myself. It should add an icon on the post toolbar for easily adding a satellite embed.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I’ll add a configuration option to turn off this feature
There has been a big shift going on, my apologies for the site outtage.
From here on out Slideshow Satellite will be the plugin I administer.
Premium edition for Slideshow Gallery Pro can be downloaded on the new Members page on the new website:
http://c-pr.es/projects/satellite/
Slideshow Satellite is still in Beta but it vastly improves the functionality and flow of Slideshow Gallery Pro.
There’s a way to have it only fade in on mouse hover, but not fade-in / fade-out on new image
Hey Mod, you can only update your paid version from the members page. Please login and redownload! You can use the contact form on the page if you run into issues with that.
Hey ForestWander
Thanks for the interest in the slideshow! To start, no it’s not a feature “out of the box” just yet. This is certainly something I want to add though.
Right now I have some customers that are paying me for some tweaks to my plugin for things they are looking for. For example my current projects are a different layout with thumbnails, adding thumbnails to the Orbit galleries, and fixing how the css and js load.
Paid hourly projects for feature additions take first priority, and then other major feature updates based off requests come right afterwards.
So yes, I would be willing to customize that for you it just comes after paid projects.
If anyone else would like to add that functionality I’d be happy to add it to future additions!

In reply to: [WP Post Thumbnail] [Plugin: WP Post Thumbnail] It won't upload picturesWas happening to me too until I resized my photos to under 1024×768. In fact there really isn’t a need for photos to be higher than that on your site unless you want people to print them.
I’m sorry, it says “no” but its actually yes, it was a little bug that snuck in. It’s updated on the site now. If you only did a 1 time download shoot me an email through the contact link (bottom of my site) and I’ll email you the updated version.
