Is it safe to ‘deactivate’ plugins? I mean, will everything be exactly the same once I ‘reactivate’ them? Or will deactivating plugins mess things up on my blog?

Perfect thanks! Apparently the issue was that we HAD to use a banner size 205 x 200, otherwise it messed up the format of the page. Thanks, sorted.
