In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Ivory Search and Custom FieldsThanks Vinod – the Header settings were set to “None”..I changed it to Default Search Form, saved it, the 404 Error message disappeared and was replaced with a search box.
I then went back into settings and changed Header back to “None”…as I don’t want a search box at the top of my website.
It all appears to be working okay now.
Thanks for the top support!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Ivory Search and Custom FieldsThanks all seems to be working okay – except I have a Ivory Search 404 “Not Found” message at the top of the screen…but I’m guessing it’s a setting I need to change, as everything else is working okay

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Ivory Search and Custom FieldsThanks Vinod –
I’ve made some progress since your last message – and it looks like another search plug-in was causing issues.
I can now see some results so will keep at it to get to where I need to be.Thanks again

In reply to: Searching custom postsThanks again Steven…I downloaded Ivory Search…installed it, created a Search Form, then a new page and copied in the shortcode the Search Form provided.
In the “Includes” section for the search form, under Post Types, I switch on “Graves” and the three other options underneath (search in title, excerpt etc)….
When I run the search under a surname I know is in a post, I get a page come up with “Nothing to Show Right Now”…
I’ve switched everything on under Post Types, switched off the Default Search Form…etc. but still get the same error.Any help appreciated. I’m happy to go to the Ivory Search forum if there is one, if the answer is not obvious. Hopefully it’s a something simple I’ve missed…

In reply to: Searching custom poststhanks Steven – I will check these out. I did try the Relevanssi one, but our site has Yoast SEO (?) which caused issues with it. Will try the other two though…
