Thanks DC_JOSE that got me half way there, added {return true} after function event and the menu seems to stays down without having to drag,
function(event) {return true;}

Hi Emsi, thanks for getting in touch , I took over this site about a month ago and its a massive priority to get this done, but would this be causing the issue? as the site is posted on daily. I need to get this up and running till i plan some time in to do the upgrade.
