James,
I am setting up anywhere from 2-4 WordPress installations per day. So just based on time management I need to be able to upload all of my WordPress files in a single upload. At least that would llbe preferable unless there is no work around.
Update,
I changed the permissions of all of the plugin folders/files to 777 and it allowed me to update them. Is there any security problems having the plugin folder/files permissions set to 777? I believe 755 is what they were set by default. Thank you!
James,
Thank you for the response. I tried added the bit of code you suggested and I was able to update about 1/4 of the plugins on the page, while the remaining 3/4 still produced the same error.
Here is an example of the error I am recieving:
Downloading update from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wordpress-seo.1.7.1.zip…
Unpacking the update…
Installing the latest version…
Removing the old version of the plugin…
Plugin update failed.I also narrowed down the “Edit/Add Link” button issue to the WP Multibyte Patch plugin. It came with the installation and it just was getting activated. Once I removed that plugin the issue went away. It did not however correct the SEO by Yoast plugin issue.
Thank you for the assistance!
