Here is a screen recording showing how the page is setup, the live view of that page, and the native behavior of WooCommerce. As you can see the block editor does not show the native out of stock as built into woo.

Great, I use the pro version of the software. Where is the documentation for what I need to do? or do I need to make another category that isn’t my main category and then the option will be present?

It may be related only to tables where the “Table features or site visitors” box is checked. I am currently going thru and unchecking that on each of the 700+ tables and that seems to be removing the popup.

If no one else on the planet with woo has the issue, then its clearly something i am doing wrong since the software is perfect in all the moderators eyes…..

I just removed the “manage stock” checkbox on the variation. That fixed the out of stock error on the category page. then I re applied the manage stock and set the in stock quantity. the page now views normally.

I have tinkered with this and my plugins 1000 different ways and i am convinced this is definitely 100% a WOO issue. I understand its impossible to program to all the dynamics involved but as this is the built in variable products being used as intended it should operate more flawlessly….

Switching to storefront doesnt help or hurt the issue because storefront doesnt show products as out of stock. all products regardless of simple/variable are shown as in stock.

And again as mentioned in the first post, i have tried deactivating all plugins to find the combo where the issue was. That DOES NOT rectify the issue.

Ryanr14 thanks for your help on this… I have solved the issue.

Mailchimp was sending the email with the (copy) tag on the product. They know about this issue and cannot figure out a fix. their recommendation is not to use duplicate products in your store. of course the easy fix for now is to turn off the mailchimp order notification….

hope this helps anyone who experiences this issue in the future.

@ryanr14, The wrong information is only in the emails. All the information on the live website and the backend of the store is correct. We see the items the order correctly and they also export/import into quickbooks correctly. The only place there is an incorrect issue is the customer Order confirmation email to our knowledge. We havent had any complaints with the Order complaint email.
