In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Updating plugin crashes site (500 error)Hi,
you’re quite behind on the add-ons. That might be the reason why this is happening. Please contact us at http://support.wp-slimstat.com with your license key(s) to get a copy of the latest version.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Problem with displaying Logged-In usersHi Bmen,
are you using any custom plugins to allow your users to log into their dashboard? Slimstat looks for a very specific cookie that WordPress assigns to your logged in users. If that cookie is not found, Slimstat assumes your visitor is a guest.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Date and Time on Access LogHi Nelson,
Slimstat will use WprdPress’ date and time settings to assign a timestamp to each pageview it records. Not sure what the issue is in your case, you may want to wait for someone to answer your question on the other forum.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Table size and deletionHi,
you can choose to either delete or archive the data after XX days. And yes, if you choose to delete it, then the corresponding entries will be removed from the database. Including hits, visitors, etc.
Thank you,
JasonPS: please refrain from submitting the same question multiple times, as that is not respectful of the time we allocate (free of charge!) to our plugin. Thank you.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Spam sites on Top Referring Domains & URLsHi,
we had done that a while ago, however people have all kinds of widgets on the dashboard, and it was causing quite a few conflicts with other scripts, so we decided to remove it.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Spam sites on Top Referring Domains & URLsYes, Wordfence should be able to help you filter them out. As for the VPN, that might be a question for MaxMind. Maybe they don’t cover those IP addresses in their data file?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Disable CookiesHi there,
We were able to reproduce the issue. A bugfix has been added to the next version, which we are planning to release early next week. Thank you for pointing this out!

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Spam sites on Top Referring Domains & URLsYou can switch to Client mode in the settings. That will take care of the issue, for the most part.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Spam sites on Top Referring Domains & URLsThat is correct. However, this was to answer your curiosity about “Itβs even stranger because my site isnβt even live yet.” True, your site is not live yet, but it’s pinging Google, and that’s how spammers might have found it.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] duplicate key in table ‘wp_[number]_slim_events’As you can see, all the key names are unique qs they use the blog_id for the current site. So that’s why I don’t understand what the issue is for your specific situation. I wonder if there’s something else interfering with the table creation function that Slimstat calls when a new blog is setup. Maybe a conflict with another plugin?
Many of the searches for this error in Google point out to WPMUDEV articles, so I’m wondering if that would be the reason for your problem:

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Spam sites on Top Referring Domains & URLsAre you sure your site is not being detected by Google? There’s a setting in WordPress for discouraging web crawlers and search engines from indexing your site π

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] duplicate key in table ‘wp_[number]_slim_events’Hi,
according to StackOverflow, this might be caused by a conflict in constraint IDs:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18056786/error-1022-cant-write-duplicate-key-in-table
What version of Slimstat are you currently using? Could you check what the constraint names for the two Slimstat tables are, for newly created sites?
Thank you,
