To update, I contacted the author of the theme and it doesn’t appear to be anything on their end. I even tried using the parent theme Primer and the homepage is still not resolving itself. The other pages changed appropriately however when I changed the theme. So my only thought is that it’s on the wordpress side.
Also to clarify, my homepage is showing up as a sitemap layout with bits and pieces of my old theme.
