So after more searching, I found “Post Thumb Revisited,” which looks like it can do what I need. But I can’t get it to work and am not sure if I want/need the software to totally redo my thumbnails. It also won’t work. I installed it and implemented the random thumb widget only on one old post (using widget logic), and it’s giving a database error. Here’s the link, the widget is on the bottom right.
