But it does not say it is good up to WP 3.9.1 so I’d like to know an alternative also

Hi Cory, Thanks for your communication. Per your suggestion I contacted the server support (JustHost) and they said Yes there is a way to change the duplicated site’s url as follows:
(1) rename it at both url options in General Settings in wp-admin
(2) save changes (will get kicked out of wp-admin upon saving)
(3) rename the folder to same desired change in FTP
(4) site will work again under new nameAccording to them the only thing to fix is it would break some image links and internal links. My site is extremely simple right now (just one page) so this method appeared to work. Do you see any reason this method wouldn’t work for a more complicated Duplicated site, given the caveat regarding image links & internal links would need fixing?
Sharing this too in case anyone else finds it useful.
Thanks!Thank you. It sounds like it’s easier to create a whole new duplicate with desired name rather than to rename the already-created duplicate.
Hi,
The Duplicator seems to work fine in terms of duplicating the site as a sub-zone within the site, the only issue I’m aware of is when I try to change the name as I mentioned originally. (After it’s already been created under a different name.)I’m not up on all of the details and terminologies, nor do I have CPanel access, so the links you provided are bit of a foreign language.
Do you know of a way that I can change the url name of the already-duplicated site, as detailed in my original message above, or do I need to create a whole new duplicate (will still be a sub- of original site) with the desired name?
Thanks for your communication.
I don’t know if “suffix” is the right term, but as explained above it is the “/[folder name/duplicated site]” part after the original site’s “[original-site].com” part that I want to change but is currently breaking the duplicated site if I do.
as in: “[my-original-site].com/[duplicated-site]”.
I want to change the Title of the “[duplicated-site]” part.hey, check this out, it might help:

In reply to: [Recently Updated Pages] How to exclude some pages?Hi, I like this plug-in too, but I had de-activate it because it was listing/linking changes that were not pages that were leading to error pages. Is there a fix for that, or do we have to find another way to list recent changes?
