i just submitted a photo at that page, that shows both so you can see
…and as noted this is only happening on mobile devices.
If you weren’t already doing this, you might be able to replicate it if you view the “portrait mode” vs. “landscape mode”- landscape mode shows it properly. If someone did not know the image they would not necessarily know it is getting distorted.
okay i just did so there…
thanks for your help & communicationhmmm sounds look i shouldn’t upgrade yet…
Thank you Pippin. I don’t want to make it public – can I submit the url to you via your contact page or some other non-public way?
Apparently what it’s doing is stretching itself out (the height is getting stretched mucho) in order to fit to the screen in the Portrait Mode. I want the aspect-ratio kept the same somehow even in portrait mode since the distortion messes up the image.
So what I’m referring to is it is distorting the aspect-ratio severely when viewed in mobile in Portrait Mode. Landscape Mode – which would be what it is on a laptop – shows up fine, and landscape mode is also fine in mobile. (though I suspect most people do Portrait Mode for mobile devices). If I refresh the page in Portrait Mode (or landscape) on mobile device, this does not do anything at all, it is still stretching out the background image intensively in Portrait Mode. How can I fix this?
Thank you for your communication.
What I did was go in and deleted the old packages via the plugin settings and left the rest. This article (3 years old) is where I got that security implication from: http://serverpress.com/news/using-duplicator-to-import-a-live-website/
So can I delete the wp-snapshots folder,or some its contents, if for nothing else than housekeeping, or is it needed for when I use Duplicator again for a new duplicate of updated site? Or needed for some other reason?
i’m having hang/stall problems also.
Hi – I imagine this may be a simple question… still seeking an answer on this one.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] quick questions: who can view alerts; & "unknown error" boxThank you.
On a different audit plugin, “Audit Trail,” when a failed login attempt happens, there is a designation as to what the username tried was, for example, “admin” or a different username. It appears on Audit Log there is only the register of the failed login attempt, not the specificed username it was tried with. Is it possible to know what username attempted – i.e., basically, was or was it not an actual username? (Since of course that impacts security).
