Just as a follow up I simply changed themes to one I just found that looks very similar to the default one but seems to be a much cleaner written one. It displays the same in IE anf firefox and coule be easily customized to look just like the default theme.

Just thought it might help anyone else with the problem as the default theme seems to be touchy in IE.
Thank you for the info. I’ll just play around with the images and perhaps trash the default theme if it has such css problems.
Microsoft should implement a critical update to all windows users which removes IE and installs firefox in it’s place..
I tried adjusting them or removing them altogether but it seems to only make it worse.
