i had the same problem as you. In my case i had to go through all my variable products (in the product list) and change the tax status to taxable. This did the trick and now it displays the prices correctly.
Im using the german version though, not sure if it’s different but hopefully i could help out.

i had a similar problem. If all your products are measured in Kg it is possible to add a suffix for it.
