I was asking about the Hotel Booking as we are clear that Car Rental and Booking plug-ins are not suitable for the cycling rental business.

The Hotel Booking is going to have to be what we use for the cycling company as well as all our hotels.

We have installed the car rental, but have noted the following:

1. Both Booking Items and Car Rental cannot co-exist. Car rental uses Categories and Items of the Booking Items, but does not display options of Car Rental such as individual units ID and history. We had to deactivate the Booking Items plug-in, which then allowed us to use Car Rental Admin creating categories, items, and other settings.
2. Shortcodes – Unlike the Booking Items, there is no way of creating a Shortcode to show “Categories”. The option is not available in the drop down which includes “Availability” etc.
3. Multiple Items – The system does not allow multiple items in a single rental. This is understandable as it is unlikely for a car hire client to need more than 1 car. This is important as usually bike rental is done for multiple bikes. We may have missed this in the settings.
4. Check box – This is still hidden but we will look into it once we have tested everything else.
5. Appreciate if you could give us some guidance on the issues from 2 to 4.

Sorry to bother you again.

Can the Car Rental plug-in and this plug-in co-exist on the website or would there be conflict?

We do not propose to use both in a live situation, but want to manually copy the test content into the Car Rental plug-in. This will save a lot of time specially as this website has 6 languages with translations that we have already done for Categories and Test Items.

Will check the CSS to see what is preventing this from working.

For the inventory management, we are better to do the Car Rental as that gives the client maintenance history.

I suspect the setting up process is very much the same as the current plugin we are using, with additional settings. Is that correct?

Thanks for the tip. I already had realised that but this client was urgent so we are trying this plugin first.

I assume the general capabilities are the same, and they just differ in semantics and some features that are unique to their relative sectors.

We will be trying your Booking Engine and will contact you via your website as the critical issue for hotels is Channel Management and how it integrates with each portal.

Hi Guys

We have been testing the plug-in (free version) and have come across a few issues that are not covered in your documentation. They include the following:

Custom Fields

1. We cannot find way of pointing the the “Check Box” to a different Terms and Conditions page. This field does not come up in Translations section.
2. How do we translate each question? When we go to Global > Translations > Custom Fields, we only see 4 fields and it is unclear what each field refers to! For example what is VRISEPDRIVERD? What is Entries? What is “Popup”? These do not appear to be in your documentation.

Shortcodes

We understand that we can only use 1 shortcode per page. Is that correct?

1. When we create shortcode, can we use “All Languages” and then manually edit the lang=”.” field or do we have to create a code for each language?
2. When we select specify the lang”” field, will the labels such as “Book Now”, etc automatically change to the defined language or do we need to use a plugin such as Loco Translate?
