Thanks, I’ve signed up for the newsletter updates.
Has the pro version been in progress for long? I know it can be hard to predict these things but wondering if best to add now or wait?

In reply to: [File Gallery] File Gallery Amazon S3?Thanks @aesqe
I was going to look into using the Amazon S3 and Cloudfront plugin to host my files.
For me as its gonna be a big image gallery, the images are better off hosted at Amazon.
Would/could File Gallery import/reference those images instead?

In reply to: [Login Security Solution] Password Strength settings (revisited)Good points. I think its a good idea to an awesome (albeit very strict) plugin.

In reply to: [Login Security Solution] Password Strength settingsHi
I just wanted to add my vote to the password flexibility.
I think giving people the option and recommendation are important (for those with less experience). However in some cases where (including myself) we build sites for clients, a little more flexibility would be good.
Personally I find the Complexity Exemption and Lengths a bit too confusing. Particularly with all the special characters and also upper/lower case mix.

In reply to: [NextGEN Gallery Voting] Getting an HTTP ERROR when uploading imagesHi Shaun, Im going to email you an login now π
Instead of making any actual changes, could you help us isolate what is going wrong and advise us on what changes we should make (so that we’re aware of what needs or needed to be done)
Thanks

In reply to: [Adminimize] [Plugin: Adminimize] MultisitesupportHi
Do you have any instructions or tips on how to achieve this?
Whereby if I create or set the Adminimize as a SuperAdmin (either at the Network Admin page or on the main network site) so that it applies to all the other sub sites?

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Editing capabilities of AdministratorThanks Vladimir
That seems to work now, but I’ve noticed a few odd things happening. Where would you like me to report any bugs/issues?
Thanks π

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Editing capabilities of AdministratorThank you Vladimir
I added
define('URE_SHOW_ADMIN_ROLE', 1);to the wp-config.php file and it then it successfully showed the Administrator in the drop down, however I can’t seem to deselect any of the capabilities. Each time I click on it, it doesnt change the status (it looks like it is locked).
How can I make them modifiable please?
By the way, thank you for such an awesome plugin. I’m going to make a donation as soon as I work this out π

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Editing capabilities of AdministratorExcellent thanks Vladimir.
I’ll give that a go.On another question, is there a capability I can add or disable which will restrict access to User Role Editor to only the Super Administrator for the multisite?
Essentially, I do not want Administrators to be able to modify or edit the User Role Editor at all.
Thanks :0
Hey benlind, could I ask what plugin you used instead of WP User Frontend?
Sure
- Go to Settings > Relevanssi.
- Halfway down the page you should find Expand shortcodes in post content
- Untick this
- Try posting a page from front end – it should no longer add hundreds of posts
Works for me at least
I fixed it: Relevanssi settings > Indexing settings and expand expand the shortcodes
