In reply to: Plugin seems stuck saying "Last Updated: 1 min ago"I waited a good 24 hours but my plugin still wasn’t getting updated, so I emailed plugins@wordpress.org. My plugin was indeed in a ‘stuck’ state, which they kindly fixed for me, but for anyone else’s future reference they also mentioned that I could’ve pushed another commit (of any sort) and that should’ve fixed it as well.

In reply to: Plugin seems stuck saying "Last Updated: 1 min ago"I just saw this post a little earlier:
https://make.wordpress.org/plugins/2016/04/13/assetsreadmes-not-showing-properly-on-plugin-pages/I’m going to guess that’s the issue and close out this post.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] What do i do wrong ?Hi innerchildweb,
There’s an issue with the WordPress plugin repository at the moment where it’s not processing updates to plugins correctly. So, unfortunately I can’t even test that v1.3.3 is working for myself at the moment. Hopefully they’ll get things rolling again soon.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] Issues with v1.3Hi sondang82,
I’m not quite following your question, but it sounds like uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it?

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] Bugs in the last release (1.3.0)Hi Pierre_02,
Yes, I’ll definitely take a look into this. Fair warning, it might be a few days, as I’ve got a few other issues to take a look into as well.
In the interim, if you want to continue using v1.2.4, here’s the URL to download it:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simply-static.1.2.4.zip
Sorry for the trouble. We’ll get this all cleared up soon.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] sitemap yoastHi pirro70,
Currently Simply Static doesn’t have a way to process xml sitemaps. We do plan to add that in the future though!
In the interim, one way to ensure they are included would be to manually add all of the sitemap URLs to the Additional URLs section under the Advanced tab in Simply Static’s Settings.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] What do i do wrong ?Hmm, you’re right, there’s definitely something else going on then. Unfortunately I don’t have a good idea of what that might be. I’d suggest trying v1.3.0 of Simply Static and seeing what you see in it’s Activity Log. Maybe it’s getting stuck in an endless loop somewhere? Let me know what you see.
I’m also planning to build some debugging tools into one of the next versions of Simply Static. I think that might help.
Thanks for your patience. We’ll get this sorted out soon.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] Simply Static & XAMPPHi staticweb,
Local Directory should be editable. We do have some placeholder text that we display in the box if the field is empty, you might want to double-check that you’re not just seeing that. If you’re still not able to fill it in, let me know.

ScottHi rl347,
I haven’t run into that issue before, but I can take a look. If you could, would you be able to email the URL for the site you’re using now? That might help me to take a look and see how the Suffusion theme is working. My email address is: scott@codeofconduct.co
Thanks!
ScottHi andy1742,
Sorry you’re having issues with the most recent version of Simply Static. Thanks for that list of plugins you’re using alongside Simply Static! I’ll try getting an installation going with them and see if I can find a conflict later today. Thanks for your patience while I get this sorted out.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] No Files Fetched, ZIP is EmptyHi andrewrhyand,
Sorry that you’re running into issues with Simply Static. I’m going to take a look later today and see if I can figure out what’s causing this. In the interim, if you need to get up and running again quickly, you can go back to using version v1.2.4. Here’s the URL to download it:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simply-static.1.2.4.zip
Uninstall the current version of Simply Static, then go to Plugins -> Add New, then there’s an Upload Plugin button up top that will let you select a zip of the plugin you want to use. Just select the zip that you downloaded from that link above.
Again, I’ll be trying to fix this as fast as I can. Thanks for your patience!

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] Animated GraphicsHi kblaszkiewicz,
Yes, there is a way to include that. Do you know the file path for the missing file(s) (or their URLs)? If so, you can specify those on either the Additional Files and Directories, or Additional URLs, respectively, to get those included.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] Is my site too big?Hi adners,
Thank you for the kind comments! Yes, I do have an update on v1.3.0. We’re nearly done with it and it should be releasing within the next week or so.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The Static Site Generator] What do i do wrong ?Thanks for the in-depth response, that helps a lot. My guess (based on what you said about Simply Static working for a while and then you getting a blank screen) is that Simply Static is timing out because it’s taking too long to generate all of the static pages.
I have a fix for that coming in v1.3.0, which should (hopefully) release in the next week or so.
