Hi Andrew, I contacted my theme’s vendors and they said the theme is old (not updated for 3 years) and can’t do anything about it. Might you know of different solutions or perhaps other suggestions.Thanks

Thank you very much. It is working now on the blog at the homepage. So that is a good start.
But it is not working on most of the other pages and the page behind a blog article.
