Thank you for your help! I think I found the problem. It had to do with the German Markets Plugin in some way. I disabled parts of it and I think it is working now but unfortunately I am now missing the “2nd confirmation” page before finally confirming an order that is mandatory in the EU. Do you may know a solution for that in WooCommerce? That plugin added such a site :(.

Thank you for your quick response! The site is already running for 18 months and working fine. We processed a lot of orders but in the last time we recognized that some payments do not work properly. I looked into it and could reproduce the problem. If a 3DS2 fullfillment is required the necessary box/iframe/popup never shows up. The order is not fulfilled :(.
