Thanks for the response. When using W3C’s validation service, I get an error that reads:
“A fatal error occurred when attempting to decode response body from http://mxmsolutions.com/. Either we do not support the content encoding specified (“none”), or an error occurred while decoding it.
The error was: Don’t know how to decode Content-Encoding ‘none’This sounds bad. Where should I be looking to fix this?

The only reason I wanted to edit this was because I dont want my homepage to have the
/wordpress/ dir in the url. I would prefer to havewhen you land on the page. But that isnt possible unless I change the dir on my server and the paths to many images and logos in my portfolio and whatnot which I dont feel like doing…. Anyways thanks again,

I tried changing the functions.php and .htaccess and they both work, but my site is all over the place and messed up. None of the css and images seem to work. Why would I do this………
