In reply to: "Error" message when I try to log onto my WordPress.org siteThere shouldn’t be a problem using the same email for different sites, though I would consider using different ones anyway, just to help keep things easier to filter later for your own sake.
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then logging in again to your site.

My layout is all weird on the Dashboard:
Flush your cache. If you’re using server caches, or a plugin, flush them too, especially Memcached/APC stuff. They can be sticky.
See if clearing your browser and plugin caches helps, as well as any caching your web host is using (if any).
