Many thanks for the replies – I have done everything exactly as per your instructions as mentioned in your replies.
Yesterday it did not work.Today, same thing – does work. Must have been some caching or something.

I can’t reauthorize after I change the url – that is when I get that error.
I have tried with a different fb app same issue trying to authorise to post to that group.
When I get that error the log info that says “This is normal technical authorization info that will dissapear…” never disappears and after I get that error the plugin is blank on all other tabs and I can only access settings after deactivating and reactivating it again.
It works fine when I try to authorise for my page
