Hey John, just updated to Version 3.0.1 and this started coming up.
Plugin: 3.0.1
WordPress: 4.9.2
PHP: 7.0.22-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36

I’m not using Cloudflare, I’ve inactivated W3 Total Cache, cleared the cache (also tried a computer I’ve a browser I’ve never logged in on), and renamed the .htaccess file and I’m still getting the error. Any ideas?
It’s most likely a bad api key, but you can check from the developer console to make sure. Once you check the error, check on the developers page for the fix: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#checking-errors
If it’s a bad key, you can change it out with your own key if you sign up for a developer account.
