Looks like an issue with your WordPress config, doesn’t look related to this plugin.
I don’t think there was a compatibility issue, I just didn’t update the “compatible with” field.
You can manually remove the settings from the database, you can find the list here:

I’d guess the issue relates to the version of PHPMailer that ships with WordPress.
Bottom line, not related to this plugin directly.

It was added to make it easier to configure settings for Pepipost users.

@webdados is correct, PHPMailer is shipped with WordPress.
Not currently supported by the plugin.
