I checked it in both Firefox and IE8 and I de-activated all my plugins.
It seems to be a feature of the TinyMCE visual editor of WP.
The only way I got around was pressing “Enter” a milion times in my paragraph.
That’s exactly what brought me to this thread… the same thing was happening to me. I deactivated as many plugins as i possibly could, which didn’t seem to make a difference at first. not too long after, the issue seemed to go away- possibly a browser cache/ history issue? If I figure post more info if I anything else out.
