Well, I got the fail whale when I tried to load twitter.com during the period I had the forever “loading” animation from the widget. Maybe Anonymous was trying to take me out for a half hour or so and got bored. 😉
Looks like it was Twitter screwing up and was just inaccessible coincidentally at the same time I upgraded. No surprise there. Tweets have loaded.
