In reply to: [Subtitles] Subtitle cutting offGood questions, and I THINK you are right that it is theme. Just found it odd, so checking here first (plus, you have answered quicker than the theme fella in the past).
Theme: Customizr
I can actually make the issue go away by changing the settings on the theme to a more list oriented layout (one that doesn’t make the content excerpt overwrite the picture, but instead show up next to it). I think it’s a problem that this feature is designed to use 3 or 4 columns. The reason I’m REALLY confused, though, is that the theme doesn’t even really know the subtitle is there. How would it have code to truncate it?I’m downloaded the current theme files right now, and I will grep for “substr” (that’s the PHP function that would be used, no?).

In reply to: [Subtitles] Subtitle cutting offOh. Sorry. Forgot to include the blog link.
I’m looking around for what might be cutting it off in the theme settings, at the moment, too.
bump?

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Shop page sort order not workingHi Krzysztof –
I changed the way I was presenting the page so I didn’t need that bug fix. However, I think if you put the “shop” page as the main page of the site, you will see the same problem. It was pretty reliable when I was testing and trying to decide what to do.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Shop page sort order not workingAdditional information:
It appears related to the fact that I have the “shop” page set as the homepage. It still does not sort correctly if I change that and go to the shop page, but it sorts differently from if I have that set as the homepage for the WordPress installation.Any ideas to work around that would be very helpful.

In reply to: [Customizr] Instructions to customize sticky headerThanks. The problem was that I was trying to manually put the logo on the page, so I wasn’t originally using the built-in feature at all for the full size logo. With it centered and full size, it does what I need and I can move things around a little bit using CSS to make it perfect for my desires.
Thanks again for the help.

In reply to: [Customizr] Instructions to customize sticky headerThanks for the reply. You’ve helped me out several times, here, and I appreciate it.
I can’t manage to find the exact feature I want in the documentation or settings; I’m thinking I have to handle it through CSS or code, but I can’t figure out where. Please point me to the right setting if I’m just being obtuse.
Let me explain again the goal (it may be easier if you peek at the page to see what I’m doing).
1. I have made a large logo that I want to be at the top of the page when it is scrolled all the way to the top.
2. When that logo is visible (i.e., scrolled to the top), I want the logo that is uploaded to the theme to be invisible.
3. When I scroll the page and the sticky header shrinks, I want the small logo that I have uploaded to the theme to become visible only then.Short version: I want the logo to be visible in the theme header section ONLY when it shrinks because the page has been scrolled.
Thanks, nikeo.
It looks like this solves it. Hopefully there won’t be more, but I’ll let you know if I run into others.

bump.
I know that the problem is a conflict between the theme and the plugin already. I am blaming the theme at this point because it is MOST likely the same as the other bug to which I referred in the initial message. That is, there is probably another place that is using the wrong command to get some title attribute.
Thanks,
JoeSorry, I think we have a time difference that may cause my initial hope to be impractical.
I went ahead and made the error show up on my site (joefessenden.com). It is visible on the first post. It ended up duplicating the subtitle and adding some garbage code (formatting characters). Please let me know after you see it and gather the data you need so I can hide away those comments for now.

In reply to: [Customizr] Link for featured image is misplacedPhoton did in fact fix it, but that thread just directs me to update Jetpack. Since I have Jetpack already up to date, I think that we need to look in the theme to see what is causing it.
I take it back. This doesn’t really solve my challenge. It ends up breaking the differing size of the span for the subheading which was the whole goal. It makes a good short-term fix, but I could really use a real fix.
Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks @nikeo.
That did fix the immediate problem, so the long-term fix can just happen when you next roll out an update to the theme. Overall, I’m pleased with all I can do in it.
Can I cheat and direct you attention to another bug I ran into?
Link for featured image is misplacedThe issue can be temporarily fixed by disabling Photon, but that doesn’t seem a good long-term solution.

WIN! It was Photon. Thanks for that catch. I just got my weekend back. 🙂
Do we know anything about the underlying cause for the error with that? I kinda would like to have that bandwidth help by loading from the WordPress servers.
