I’ve resolved the issue but would be interested to know why it worked…

I had my uploads folder with permissions 755. I’ve set that to 777 and it now works fine

Any ideas?

I’ve got this sorted from another forum – I needed to change the:

'post-parent' => get_the_ID()

to

'post-parent' => get_queried_object_id()

et voila, just the pages images!
