In reply to: Linking pages of the site togetherNah…I figured it out. It was just a matter of making a link at the bottom of each page so that they can go from one to the other. It’s amazing how much info you can find by googling wordpress info….

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedI figured it all out. THANK YOU so much for your help. It made a big difference.
I was wondering if you knew how to link pages together? for example…I want people to start on the landing page and be able to read page after page after page without having to go to the menu. Is there a way for me to link to the next page on the bottom of the page?

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedOkay….I got the link to work:
But I can’t get it to say Ant Extract.
I changed the theme to twenty ten, which I read was one of the most downloaded.
I also used the “insert link” button and copied and pasted the link into the box that this button brings up. It then allowed me to hit “apply” and the link “lite up” Now it’s at least clickable and works, but I want it to say “Ant Extract”??

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedURL is on a line by itself, as you can see.
Okay, thanks. I’ll try that and see what happens.
So then typically, if you put a line like that in wordpress, it automatically autoembeds, as you say….??

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedYou were asking for the link on the page, so that’s what I sent you. I published the page with the link on it. I want to make it look just like word press did. I want someone to be able to click on the link and go to the page where they can buy the product.

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when published??? Lol…
I want to make that link on the page look exactly like wordpress just made it look? As you can see when I put the link on the page you can’t click on it…it just looks like a big long link.

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedSo this is strange….why does the link show up as it does in this post? When you follow it you can see how it is still shown written out….I want the link to show up JUST LIKE IT DOES HERE!!!! Just the words Ant Extract.

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedI’m sorry…..Do you not know what I mean when I say “light up?” When you hover over an active link on a web page, that’s what it does.
I also don’t understand why you need a couple paragraphs of content? The link should work independently of any content on the page? I’m not sure why that’s necessary to get the link working?
I’ll place the link on the page and then publish it and then provide a link to that particular page. Will that help?

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedOkay….I can link to the page, but it’ is literally a blank page with the heading, no content yet, and the link is going to go at the bottom after the content so that the product can be purchased.
I’m assuming I’m going to have to publish the page so that you can see it? Why is it that I need to link you to the page? I thought you just needed to see the link?
My apologies for being so green…….

https://jt231.isrefer.com/go/antextract/cdsnuts/I see that there is a box to format this link so that I can change it to say whatever I want it to say, but when I save the work and preview the page the link doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t “lite up” when you scroll over it or take you anywhere when you click on it?
Please forgive me guys as I am very green with all of this stuff. It just seems like what should be the intuitive way to do things isn’t when it comes to building websites.

In reply to: How to make an affiliate link "active" when publishedIt’s just a text link……but it won’t stay “lit”
