Hi Michael,
Thanks for getting back to me. The only reason I entered the URL in the canonical field was to attempt to solve the problem of Yoast’s sitemap not updating. I have made the changes as you suggested, and then once again turned the sitemap on and off, however the problem remains.
I also have numerous other pages where I have never entered anything in the canonical field, and they don’t appear in the site map either.
For example:
http://celinejeanjean.com/the-viper-and-the-urchin-series/
http://celinejeanjean.com/blackorchid/
http://celinejeanjean.com/razors-edge-chronicles/
http://celinejeanjean.com/touched-by-magic/
There are plenty of other pages with the same problem, but I won’t list them all. All these pages have been optimised for SEO using the Yoast plugin.
If you have any other suggestions as to what I can try to fix the problem, I’d really appreciate it.
Celine
sorry realised I forgot to include my website:
celinejeanjean.com
The blog to which I want to redirect the RSS feed to is celinejeanjean.wordpress.com
Thanks!
