Hi Jules,
Thanks a lot. This did the trick!Cheers,
Cesarehi i created a test form where you can see what happens. https://www.metabolic4you.ch/test/
Nothing has the same name attribute there (it contains 2 fields…) and the problem happens. there.
did you seee?plugin developer its templatemonster.com. they usually do really a good job. also with support.
had an online chat with them. they basically say that they don’t support “all” plugins and that they did everything OK and that I should check out another plugin… you probably know this ridiculous game of blaming the others and vice versa…
told them that if they break general rules for plugins integration thats something they should care about…they opened a ticket now. don’t think it will yield a lot…
Hi,
Not yet. Good point actually. I am going to ask them now and let you know.Yes its a theme issue. But its a theme issue for 2 out of 3 themes (66%; chosen randomly)! This means it will probably be a theme issue for many other people as well, they may just not have noticed it.
I thought you could give people some advice how to fix it. Otherwise we we’ll simply disable this feature.
Cheers,

Here is the other example where it doesn’t work: THansk for your help.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
CesareYou are probably right. But this is of no use to me. How to fix it? What to look for?
I am enabling this feature on 6 of our sites (with different themes), 3 of them have actually a blog:
– on one them the captcha is displaying correctly
– on two of them it is not there at allThis is a failure rate of 66% on complete different themes chosen randomly. I am pretty sure I am not the only one having that. Even if this is a theme issue you probably should still look into it or give some kind of description for people how to fix that.
Cheers,
CesareIt did the trick actually. No failed logins from bots anymore since a couple of days!
XMLRPC seem to have been their main way to try to hack at least 3 of our sites. Maybe you should highlight the importance of this “backdoor” even more in your tool/backend, its a little bit hidden I think.
Thanks.

OK. Thanks a lot for the link. Learned something new! Probably all of “failed” login attempts came from there I guess. Disabled it everywhere now as we are not using it anyway. Will tell you how it goes. Until now it did the trick actually.
