In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Cannot activate pluginBrightgirl, while Michael is working on this issue, I found a temporary solution for people to sign up for our mailing list. Constant Contact offers a web sign up form for each mailing list in your account. You can get the link to the form from your account, then set up a text or button link in a page or text widget on your site.
Here are the instructions on where to find the form link. I set it up as a “subscribe” button in our sidebar and it is working fine.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Cannot activate pluginHey Michael, I just fixed the password and the previous login is working now. Thanks for checking into it.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Cannot activate pluginBrightgirl, I don’t believe the plugin requires the license key to use it, so I installed it on both sites without trouble. I am able to run live transactions from the staging site without any issues.
Michael, I sent you an email with the login details. Thanks so much with your help with this.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Cannot activate pluginHi Michael and brightgirl, I hope it’s okay to keep posting in your thread. 🙂
I’m using the Total Donations plugin on both a live and staging site at the same time. I can send a login to my staging site if it’s helpful.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Fatal Error When Activating PluginMembershipWorks, thanks for your input on this. You are correct, the issue is with another plugin. I tested each of my plugins with Constant Contact Forms, and the fatal error happens with the Total Donations plugin. This plugin gives our donors the option to sign up for our Constant Contact mailing list via a checkbox when they make a payment. Here is the link to the plugin:
https://codecanyon.net/item/total-donations-for-wordpress/9985487
The Total Donations plugin is our sole source of collecting donations from our customers, so we have to leave it active. Any ideas on how to resolve the conflict?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Cannot activate pluginHi Michael, I am also having this problem (I posted a separate thread about it yesterday), and tried the plugin you posted above. I had the same problem as brightgirl, fatal error with white screen of death. I deleted the plugin via ftp and the site came back.
If you have any ideas on how to resolve this, or other plugins that might work for us, it would be so helpful. The other plugin will no longer work after today.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Fatal Error When Activating PluginHi Michael, the “…” is my server root info. I’m testing this on a non-public staging site so I left it out for security purposes. I don’t think it contains any useful info.
The plugin we have been using is Constant Contact Widget by MembershipWorks. I tried to link to their page on wordpress.org, but it is no longer a valid link. This is the plugin website: https://membershipworks.com/constant-contact-widget-a-free-simple-and-lightweight-plugin/
If it is helpful to you, I can supply you with an admin login to my staging site.
Thanks.
Ah, I was updating the main iTunes settings rather than the category. Thanks for your help, Shawn!
Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: New Inline Link Feature, I do not like!It is my understanding that this thread is in the “Requests and Feedback” forum. I came here to give feedback on the inline link feature. If I need to start a new thread or go somewhere else to provide feedback, please let me know.
On to the feedback… I also do not like this new feature. It requires extra steps to:
1. Set a link to open in a new tab (I don’t think the OP started this thread to debate pros and cons of target=”_blank”. It is an option in the link dialog box and is buried an extra step in the process).
2. Select recent posts/pages from the post/page list. It is much easier to select recent posts from the list than to type the name of a post. Often I do not know exactly what my clients have titled their new posts, so I look for it at the top recent post list in the link box.
3. There is no clear way to dismiss the link box once the link is set. You have to click somewhere else on the page to close it. At first I thought the “X” option might be the close or dismiss button, but that removes the link. This is counter-intuitive after years of using an “update” button (I’m old and set in my ways, okay?)
I work on WP sites all day, and these extra steps add up over time. I think having this as an option, rather than a built-in feature would be nice (without having to install an extra plugin to do it.)
Thanks.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event cost not displaying correctly after updateHere is one of the sites where this is happening:
http://www.floydcountrystore.com/events
The cost is displaying properly now because of my added CSS rule, but if you inspect the date and time line on a single event post (.tribe-events-schedule h2) and deselect my addition of display: inline-block, the price drops to the next line. It looks like the rule was not updated when the heading tag was changed from h3 to h2. Also this causes the date to display huge if you have a large h2 font. I set mine back to 18px.
Hopes this helps (and apologies for double posting)!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event cost not displaying correctly after updateI just checked it with Twenty Fifteen and all other plugins deactivated, and the cost is still dropping to the next line.
Thanks for checking in,
