I did delete and re-install. mode deflate is instaledd
gzip is not working properly:
– Your server may not have the “deflate” module enabled (mod_deflate for Apache, ngx_http_gzip_module for NGINX)
– Another plugin may be interfering with the configuration
If re-checking and restarting does not resolve, please check with your host or open a support ticket with us.I deleted and reinstalled.

In reply to: [Post Grid] I get nadaI got it to work sorry my bad I’ll correct the review
Carybriel why are you commenting on this? I am telling them about the issues I saw. I was not complaining that there no enough freebies. I paid. Re-read.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Event not clickable, not displayedtooltips are broken. that is the issue.
what he is trying to say is that the tooltips are broken.
I was not expecting the world with a free app. I paid for three licenses and expected that basic things, like shortcodes, widgets, a search function and the ability to change colors would be part of the paid app. You say the other plugins extend the functionality of The Events Calendar. No they actually complete the parts that you did not and should have included. Seriously no way to search in the free or paid versions. That’s not excess weight.
I’m sorry, but I really liked the look of the product and installed it on three different websites, with different hosts and different plugins. So then whenever I asked a questions, and the reply was, “your theme is the problem,” or your plugins are the issue. That was infuriating, condescending and unprofessional.
You said, “we would love to be able to support those, but I feel that expecting us to do so is a tad unfair,” Well then you should not refer people to download them and rely on them to correct your coding deficiencies.
On every support threads, your staff says to download the other plugins to achieve BASIC changes. Or add lines of code to the functions file. I don’t think WordPress was designed to have people play with the functions file for every plugin. The fact that one has to download three different plugins to get yours to work is bad enough, but to then have your tech people say they don’t support them, means that you do not offer a complete free or paid plugin product with support.

In reply to: [Event Rocket] Error messageOK, thanks. That makes sense actually.
I have the same issue with one site I use WPTouch Pro. But the other site I use WPTouch Pro does not have the same problem. How can that be?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Works greatSorry, I want to delete the review but I can’t apparently. I did download the zip files and tried to restore that way and it also didn’t work. I did not have time to post in support, the site was gobble-de-gook, and I needed it fixed right away.
I didn’t think I was too harsh and if you feel discouraged, you can understand how I felt that Friday night with the mess I had on my hands.

Problem solved, not your issue. I think my excel worksheet had excessive code and so the file was large. I just copied and pasted manually, worked perfect. Please mark this resolved and thanks, this is great.
Never mind I figured it out and it worked. THANKS!!!!!!
