My Event Calendar plugin recurring event will appear on the monthly view but does not allow visitors to the actual event page. It goes to the 404 page not found. Can you tell me how I may be able to fix this issue?

Has there been any solution to this issue? My site is working fine externally but after logging in to edit on the back-end my site takes approximately 2.5 min to load per page and the visual and text mode is not visible.
Our phpMyAdmin on the webserver is version 4.0.10.8
Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS)
Database client version: libmysql – 5.1.73
