Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: directoriesthe problem with that is that the /weblog directory is password protected, which brings up errors if I have wordpress installed into it. What I’ve ended up doing is having a double installation of wordpress into the root and /weblog. I run almost everything from the root files, but I have to use the /weblog install to update my template. It’s a mess, but I haven’t found a better solution yet.

In reply to: more…I installed Scriptygoddess’s plug-in for show/hide more, and it works now. Not sure what the problem is with the original code.

In reply to: Changed options, now won’t workI think I fixed it. What I changed was from /index to /blog (on both). The problem was that there was no /blog on my server and it messed up my admin, so I simply created a directory called “blog” and copied all of my WP files to it, which let me use my admin again and change it back to /index. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it seems fixed.

In reply to: Changed options, now won’t workI didn’t actually move any files, I just changed the Options on the admin screen (where you post and such), so I don’t understand where everything went. They should still be in the index.
