It seems like since everything runs fine when I am logged in, it must be some kind of permissions difficulty. But where to change what? I have this site I have been working hard on so close to completion, but this one snag. Getting bummed about WordPress.

I disabled all plugins to be sure. Maybe I deleted code I shouldn’t have when I disabled comments? It kinda doesn’t make sense that the images would show up when I am logged in, but not otherwise, that is the key to this puzzle.

In reply to: thumbnail links in posts not workingI am thinking it may have something to do with the options in permalinks in the admin panel, but have tried every format option and it still isn’t working. I have tried reloading the images into the post via upload: send to editor. Nothing.
The fact that the page shows when I am logged in makes me think it has something to do with public/private issues, but have no idea where to begin.

I too am having the exact same issue, and have yet to find an answer. The links from thumbnails in my posts work fine when I am logged into the admin panel, but as soon as I sign out, the links show: Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.
I know it’s there, it just isn’t linking to it. I have tried the default theme, and checked the site using both Firefox and Safari.
I am not comfortable going into the database and futzing around, unless I know exactly what it is I am doing.
“Must be a bug when adding attachment.” How do we solve this is the question.
