Do you need this to be automated? If you only have a few, I know you can do it manually. In the user board, at the bottom, in s2Member Configuration & Profile Fields, simply add the ccaps in the Custom Capabilities field and save. That’s all.
You can also change ccaps as needed. As an example, today, I had a customer who had used 2 accounts and had ccaps on both. She asked me to put them into ONE account and delete the other. That was done by hand; copy and paste! That simple.
Not that I know of, unfortunately.
From what I know of s2M, it is not working as a cart system.
However, have you considered using some kind of funnel like on one page, have the 3 digital products/memberships, with 3 BUY buttons.
Then, the BUY buttons would actually be linked to another page, where there is the “upsale” of the physical product and two buttons with BUY or NO THANKS, and those buttons would either be coded with a shortcode for the purchase of one or the other, or linked to a pro-form with ONLY what they chose (digital only or digital+physical) with no drop down. This is something I am actually in the process of implementing myself!
Even though this is a membership plugin, it can also be used without a membership as in a one-time purchase. Did you read the details of the “Wrapping Multiple Shortcodes as “Checkout Options”” in the Pro-Form? And for each “product” or “bundle” create a shortcode to be used as in the Wrapping of multiple shortcodes.
I am not familiar with OP, but are you able to incorporate php code instead of shortcode?
It seems to load for me. Did you try again?
From my own experience, there is no problem if you go from a temp domain and transfer to a live site. I still have a “test” domain in addition to my “live” site and they are ok with it since it is only one live site.
From what I remember, you simply cannot have two concurrent subscriptions. You can have multiple purchased ccaps but not in subscription mode.
However, it used to be that if a user had one subscription, and had purchased a few other ccaps, individually for other products, at the end of the subscription, ALL ccaps were removed. However, recently I have noticed a change in that behavior and only the ccap associated with the subscription has been removed (and a note is added in the Administrative notes about it).
I don’t think you can do that, and if I am not mistaken, it would be a Paypal issue not a s2M issue. After all, your customers registered with an understanding that the price will be X. If you change that, you are “breaking that understanding”.
I would suggest you have their membership terminate at a certain point in time and offer them a renewal (re-subscription) with a new price. That is what a magazine subscription would do in a way, letting you know in advance so you can opt out if you don’t want to pay the higher fee. Of course, they tend to just TELL you instead of ASKING you, but that would be close enough.
For PRO support I think you should contact them directly, NOT in here, as this is a wordpress platform and the staff from s2M are not often in here.
For the PRO support I think you should send a direct email or fill a form instead of posting in this location. That is what they mean by premium support since the staff from s2M are not often in this place.
I didn’t try it but I would not see any reason why s2M would not be compatible with Paypal premier account. What would that type of account has different and “less” than the regular account to possibly cause any issue with s2M?
Instead of creating a button in s2M that will send to Paypal as they are meant for “purchased” levels, link your “button” to the registration page http://you.site/wp-login.php?action=register
That should send them directly to the registration page and not the Paypal page.
You are welcome.
I am not specialist but have you tried temporarily changing the theme to the default JUST to see if it would work? Just in case it is something s2M does not like about the theme itself?
