In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingWhile I’d love to do the support, I’m not exactly the person in charge of money in our department π
Any chance you could think of something I could check? Also looking into alternatives to the slider as a quick fix for the time being.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingRan through and found the conflicting plugin – Looks like it’s the WordPress Slider Plugin (which would explain why it’s only occurring on the home page since that’s the only place we use it).

Any ideas?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingI’ll run through and disable plugins on our test site to see if I can weed out the problem. Will follow up shortly.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingThanks for the response! I went ahead and manually upgraded the plugin on our test site. Unfortunately, the problem still seems to persist.
IE still redirects to another link, however Chrome just doesn’t do anything now. Any thoughts?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingAlright, is there something else you’d want me to give you? I wish I could give you a link to the site, but, unfortunately, it’s our company Intranet.
Thanks for the help.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Homepage external links not workingIt’s linking to an internal server, but here’s code code from the text widget:
<a href="http://vision/visionclient/deltekvision.application"><img src="http://intra/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/vision_logo.png" alt="Vision" height="25" width="63" /></a> <a href="http://vision/navigator"><img src="http://intra/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/navigator_logo.png" alt="Navigator" height="25" width="99" /></a>Just note that even putting in something like http://www.google.com/ would not work either, it would just redirect to another page on the Intranet. It seemed to be pulling the links from the menu widget above it or somewhere else on the page.

In reply to: Thousands of "temp-write-test-XXXXXXX" filesI think I figured it out. From the reply to your thread over on their website, I decided to check the permissions on the /wp-content/ folder.
I noticed the server/users group did not have modify permissions. Since this group is just local to the server, I went and gave it modify permissions. After doing that, I loaded a couple pages on the Intranet (which usually would cause the temp-write-test files to be created every time).
Nothing. No new “temp-write-test” files were created. It seems like this was causing the issue as far as I can tell. It’s been about half an hour since I applied the new permissions, and I’ve yet to see any pop up. This is on our live site and I can see people hitting the Intranet every few minutes.
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: Thousands of "temp-write-test-XXXXXXX" filesLooks like this is the case for me as well. We use the AI1EC for some general event information, but I might consider switching to another calendar plugin if this is what’s causing the issue.
Let me know if you figure out anything else, I’ll do the same.

In reply to: Thousands of "temp-write-test-XXXXXXX" filesNothing yet, unfortunately. Can’t seem to figure out what would even be causing it.

In reply to: Thousands of "temp-write-test-XXXXXXX" filesWe’re actually the server host since we’re running this in-house for our company Intranet. Anything specific I should look into?

In reply to: "Are you sure you want to do this?"All good – it ended up being WP Super Cache. Even with the plugin disabled, it would cause this issue. Removing the folder completely fixed it. Thanks!
