Removing the hash from the id made the page jump to the target. (Progress)
+ Enabling the option “Enable for all targets” made the page scroll to the target. (Success)

That fixed the problem, thanks Bas. 5 star plugin and support!
Important note, it only took effect after I reset the button cache within maxbutton plugin and deleted my site’s cache and I also cleared my browser cache.
Hi, I am having the same problem using Newspaper theme from tagdiv.
Various custom css codes I have used fixes the problem on Firefox but not on Chrome.
